Basically, he forgot his password. I asked Jim to resend it to him. While I have your attention, could you please reinstall the "change text size" feature that you had at the top the other day. It is very useful for visually impaired people like me. Thanks.

I will second that. Right now I'm recovering from an operation to fix a retinal detachment in my right eye, and thus I still have problems with my sight. But I believe that it will be better soon. Therefore the option to adjust the text size is a great help. While I have your attention, could you please reinstall the "change text size" feature that you had at the top the other day. there's one small difference:
With Opera:
When I used the option to resize the text with the feature that Brad included then only the text would change it's size, but the layout and the pictures would stay the same. This is the same at other sites that have this option.
When I use the CTRL key with the scroll wheel at the mouse, or the size feature from Opera were I can change the size in steps from 20% to 1000%, then the whole site changes its size. And either I get a free part on the left and right margin or the site is bigger then my screen and I have not only to scroll vertically but also horizontally.
With the Internet Explorer I can change the size of the site like in Opera, and then there is a menu button to change the text size, but that doesn't work because the text size is controlled via a CSS stylesheet and not via simple HTML.

Don't forget guys that with most browsers (definitely works on FF) you can also adjust it using Ctrl key and scroll wheel on your mouse (assuming that your mouse is so equipped).
Thanks Chris,
I was unaware of that feature. It works well for me in Safari.
Thankz,
Jerry

I want to thank you for everything you have done to make this site better, it is very much appreciated. Also, thanks for helping Fred get on to the new site as well as reinstating the Change Text Function. If there is anything I can do to assist in the web page development please don't hesitate to ask.

All is true. If one goes into their forum settings and changes the view from oldest first(default) to newest first, they will have trouble viewing multiple pages. I probably should turn that option off until there is a new release of fireboard forum software. However, if I recall, several members insisted on using newest first despite it having this bug so I left it up to them. Here are the choices:
1) view oldest first – default setting, works fine
2) view newest first – altered setting, has bug
We will wait for the bug to get fixed in the next addition from Fireboard. I personally have my setting Oldest First, no problems. Cheers, Jim CCRR:blink:

Some discussion in the Shout Out box lately. Here is what Brad has to say.

As an aside, the "view newest first" works fine *if* all the messages appear on one page (oldest on the bottom, newest on the top). As soon as the message quantity/volume necessitates going to a second page (or more), only the window with the most recent messages will appear. Despite clicking "Next" or the desired window number, one only sees the most-recent window.
