That is really some find you got at the train show. Jerry is right with his guess of the early DCC controler. I did some loooking and this was a very popular stystem when it first came out. People today are still using it and they buy and trade parts for the system as highly sought after collectables. Here is a little more info on it if you would like.

				That system wasn't DCC.  It is considerably older.  I've replaced the picture above with the un-edited version.   Also.. I didn't purchase it.. according to my wife I've got too much old junk as it is.

With all those switches I bet the inside is an electrican's nightmare.
A friend of mine bought the system for his big HO layout, a year later Keller went under. For a while people were giving them away to get rid of them, now they are a collector item.
If I remember right by the time my friend went DCC he had enough of the Keller systems to supply half the model railroaders in Michigan.
