All of his structures are pre-assembled, but they're not painted. They're also a little on the "flat" side (not much detailing--most of what you see in the photos is all "burned in"), but with a good paint job they should do quite nicely. I especially like the coal mine.
I've ordered from him and he's a straight shooter. I've asked him if he'd sell them as kits, and he's considered it, but the cost to develop a kit, especially with instructions (English is not his first language, so it would be a challenge for him to write), is almost as much as it is for him to assemble them.

Also, Matt on Trainboard says he is working with someone to make some kits. See the thread www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?p=795408 for a picture of that design.
I sure hope he at least asks Dave Vollmer for permission to use his design, since he kitbashed that structure.

NO... he didn't... which is not surprising from this clown. Me and a few others have had experiances with him that have been less than satisfactory.

SOMETHING LIKE THIS
Is this a single structure? More exactly... Are all the buildings in this photo from a single auction?
Actually... this looks quite good as it is, without painting or weathering. The lazer burned wood gives it a rustic feeling. Hmmm... I have a bunch of Uncle Will's Full Throttle 2-bay and 3-bay hoppers and a good amount of PennZee 3-bay hoppers.

I'm more interested in the other coal structure set. I've never seen it offered on feeBay, or maybe I just didn't notice it.

Are you planning to use a coal mine on your layout? What area of the US are you modeling? Post some photos of your layout, would love to see your progress.
Yours,
John
