This past Sunday November 2nd, after the Gratiot Valley train show I finally took the time to visit the Michigan Transit Museum which is maybe 5 miles from the train show location. The Grand Trunk Western Rail Station was built in 1859, and is where Thomas Edison learned telegraphy. There are two out buildings one being the original waterhouse. CN rail lines run right behind the museum and you can usually see some train photographers catching some action shots.
