Thanks Terry, this isn't really a "fun" vacation but at least I got to talk Z for awhile last night with Don and Judy. Hope you are staying warm up there!

Looks like the telephone poles are the front runner so far this month!

Here is a challenge for you guys out there. If you have an idea for a structure or accessory that you would like in Z scale I will pick one (or more) those ideas and and make it into a kit. If we pick your idea you get a free kit of it. But, the problem is it needs to be something simple enough to draw on the program we use. We've only been doing this for several months so the more difficult the structure/accessory it is the more unlikely it will be chosen. For instance, the more dormers the less likely it will even be attempted :woohoo: But it has been fun doing things not normally found in this scale so think up something cool. Coming up soon, that has already been designed, is a Creamery, the second set of Storage Units buildings C&D (all the doors are numbered), a Ferris Wheel (carnival rides won't count as several more are also already designed) and some outside cafe tables with umbrellas. Plus we've got another cottage with no garage finished, fits well with either of the stand alone garages just released this month.

There is now a hobby shop in Ohio carrying our product (just had to bring some product along on this trip just in case), our LHS in Medford, and one in British Columbia Canada. But Z Scale Monster is our only online distributor. I mention this because Jim says its okay

If you guys have a hobby shop in your area that may want to have some kits from us in stock just let Loren or me know. All of our hobby shops carry the items we make in N and HO as well.

So we look forward to your submissions. The more photos of each idea the better unless it isn't necessary such as our park bench kits, we didn't need photos to design those  . I've already had requests for some very ornate (and difficult) train stations but I'm just not there yet, too many roof angles to figure out. Just have fun with this and good luck.

Karin brought a whole batch of these items with her when she was in Ohio last week. She almost had to pay extra for so much baggage.

We had these scattered all over the restaurant table and they are really nice. The details are suburb. All of these items will fit in real nicely with many of the house and church kits already available. You can make a very true chareristic building by adding many of these extras. Go to Anthony's site zscalemonster to see thee and other items. Karin also had a few items that hopefully she is going to produce as laser kits as some folks will be jumping up and down to be first in the ordering line.

How about a typical fast food restaurant of one of the major chains (or a lookalike should you encounter copyright problems; like McDowells as in the Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America :P )?

These look like the same ones Karin had with her last week. They look much better "in person" than the photos indicate.

Beverly, the shop is called On Track Hobbies and they are grand folks to deal with. They have an online store but if you want any of our stuff from them you will have to tell them exactly what you want. Use Z Scale Monster Trains as your catalog since I asked them not to sell any of our items online as a courtesy to ZSM.
