Wanting some graincars,and quite honestly finding the ALZ hoppers price prohibitive (I am on a fixed income) I decided to do some kitbashing with some pieces and parts I aqquired with the help of Joe D. and Loren.
The project involved taking 2 of these,
and making one of these.
Have a few more things to do before paint,like deciding if I want to paint them (there will be 2 of them)for CSX or my own GVR.One thing is definate though they will be getting Fox Valley wheelsets

the car looks great! nice job. what did you do to paint/weather your masterpeice? the car looks just like the cars that run thru on csx. here in mich.

Very Nicely Done!! I love the feeling a project bashing produces when it is completed. Especially when it is better than I could have imagined!!! Great Job!!
