Many moons ago I found a photo in Model Railroading's "Intermodal Modeler's Guide Vol. 1". This photo shows a 48' Husky painted exactly like the MTL release of the BN Husky some time ago. Upon enquiry and indepth investigating I found out that the photo MTL used to create the BN paint scheme was from the "A" Husky of a 3 drawbar set. In the Intermodal Modeler's Guide, Vol. 1, a photo of "C" Husky is in a section about the Gunderson Husky-Stack's. Apparently this BN paint scheme only appeared in the 3 Drawbar units. If I am wrong, someone please send me photos of this paint scheme in single versions. Anyways, since finding this info, I accumilated 3 of MTL's BN 48' Husky's to modify into a 3 drawbar unit. Today I used "ELO" to carefully remove the unwanted white lettering, printed "B", "C" and Lube Data decals, and drilled, threaded and assembled drawbars between the three cars. The photo above is the end result. I plan on modifying more of My MTL Husky's into other 3 & 4 Drawbars Units in the future! Hobo Tim :-)
