Tenshodo Rolling Stock was created by Gerd
Did anyone notice that Tenshodo is offering or going to offer matching rolling stock for the fantastic D51?

We have been working closely with Tenshodo and are expecting our first shipment of their new freight cars very soon. Tenshodo just posted photos of their gondolas and they look very nice. Most of the cars will be offered in pairs. The one exception will be the brake van. We plan to start listing the new releases on Ztrack Center has soon as the shipments begin to arrive.

Hi Gerd;

Yes we have been talking about this stuff for awhile now. The reservations opened up 6 weeks ago at hobby search and the first car the Gondola arrived at hobby Search last Friday. We believe the other cars except for the reefer will be out over the next few weeks. The passenger cars maybe next month. The D51 steam engines have been out for almost 9 months now for the first version released. This is where we talk about the Japanese Z scale stuff.

You can see all of the Z scale only stuff by using the link in the left hand colomn that says other Z below the Pro-z links.

The other new item is the "O" series shinkansen from F-Toys. It is a static model but in November Platz will release the drive conversion to turn this static model into an operating Z scale model. Then Crown or PRMLoco is releasing a couple of sets of passenger cars in a book case sleeve either late this month or next.
In addtion there is a new player on the seen in Japan. Rokuhan is their name and their first release is planned for late November and it is an extensive line of Roadbed Track with curved radii from 95 to 220mm in 25mm increments so they will form double track and triple track mains plus switches or points or turnouts which ever term you prefer with the switch machine hidden in the roadbed not located alongside the turnout. Their English web site should be up soon and will show their very nice power pack which includes switches for controlling their turnouts and a y cable to connect two turnouts to one switch so you can open both ends of a passing siding at with one control lever. eventually they will have individual control levers which connect to the side of the power pack to control additional turntouts or other accessories.
They are well on their way with an EMU set and some small diesels and a steam engine.

So you can see lots happening on the Japanese Z scene at the present time.

And I have a web site with this info on it as well
