Ed,
There are a number of people that do custom paint work. You might give Loren (tealplanes) a shout he just did an engine and caboose for the layout Jim is sending to Iowa. Jim posted a picture of them a few days ago, or go to tealplanes gallery there are some custom paint jobs there.

Myself I'll have to purchase a few unpainted GP35s in order to sport a Genesee & Wyoming paintscheme for my future mexican layout (I don't want to repaint my current Geeps as I appreciate their paintschemes - BN, ATSF, UP, SP -, and as I use them on my small western US layout under construction). My Rogue GP38-2s will receive the same treatment as well.

I'm doing such jobs, what are you looking for? To get an idea what I do have a look in my gallery.

Gerd is a excellent modeler, and does great job in painting and making custom decals. If you need something that doesnt exist, Gerd is your man. Gerd also does super detailing and weathering, so you dont have to settle for a clean engine.:laugh:
