Thank you for posting the videos. I enjoyed watching the long slow-moving trains

are you talking about the trailer itself? It's casted not injection moulded. It's a great piece of equipment, have one for myself finished and still one in the box (not for sale!!!)

Thanks for the videos ...
...unfortunately I missed this moment on the Micro modules...
...there were so many other things to see, and especially so many people I absolutely had to speak to.
For me this were two wonderful days (and a great evening), with many new impressions and the one or other idea for a future project.
Jeff and Larry, I hope you're home safe again. To all the others...
...you absolutely should try to attend next time...
GreetingZ, HilZen,
Uwe

Thanks for posting the link to this spectacular video. So many layouts and modules to see! The animated scenes and dioramas are a joy unto themselves

I'm happy you liked the video. Here's a link to a slideshow that was posted in the ZFE board.
The most amazing thing for me was, that even in two days I haven't seen all the details on the show. When I saw the different videos and pictures available I found things I haven't seen in Altenbeken myself.
I would have liked to have meet more people, but I missed some of the other visitors. I did meet Larry Donsbach and Jeff Merrill (SJ-BAZ-man)
About the video I wouldn't forget to mention that the sound you can hear while seeing the Julierbahn (from 1:17 to 2:22) of Jens Wimmel (1:39) is from the layout of Spiri (5:40 to 6:02 Spiri on the left) from Switzerland. His control panel is in a drawer under the layout, and is as wide as the layout in itself. He's has installed a lot of light ans sound effects...

I have been trying to view the video from the first posting in the blog.
I keep getting the message, "An error occurred, please try later".
Is anybody else getting this message?
Thanks,
Robert

Seems I can't get enough German inspiration these days - the slides were excellent, though the slideshow was too fast. I had to stop each frame to see the details of the scenes. Even the restaraunt scenes were interesting Am listening to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata on YouTube right now

The picture I love the most is number three. I love it when kids watch those layouts and trains, and especially when they point out details to their parents:the slideshow
"Look Daddy... there's a swan swimming on the pond!!!"
They often see much more much faster then the adults.
Well, I will have to have a few words with the photographer...Even the restaraunt scenes were interesting
...he tipped me over in the restaurant...
But then it WAS a funny evening...

I have also discovered there is a problem with Firefox. I don't know the problem, but I cannot watch You Tube videos on my Firefox browser but I have no problem with the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Enjoy.
Robert
