Ulie,

I wonder if Harald at FR would be interested in offering a model of this train?

Uwe,

I too am disappointed that more interest hasn't been shown in this thread. I have learned a great deal trying to find answers to questions posted and also in researching questions I want to post. Your participation has opened my exposure to European rail lines that I may not have sought out on my own. I feel this exposure has broadened my view of modeling in general and given me more ideas for future projects.

I had found the answer shortly after you posted the question, but did not respond due to reasons previously given. I was waiting for participation from others, but I think Summer activities have cut into this kind of activity. Hopefully there will be more interest this winter when everyone gets back to more modeling activities.

Jerry,

When I started in Z I purchased almost everything in sight. Then I decided to specialize in just one railroad, Swiss SBB & BLS and have a crockdile, 2 Ae 6/3 green & brown, several Re 4/4 and need an Ae 6/6 or Re 6/6. This gave me guidelines and reduced my spending. I also belong to the Zo Cal group here in Southern California and they run American prototype. They enjoy my Swiss, but I have also chosen Eastern Pennsylvania railroads like PRR, Reading, Lehigh Valley, New Jersey Central and I only purchase freight cars in that area. This also restricts my spending. I currently have 2 PRR GG-1s.
I'm not money rich but I would be tempted to purchase a lot more goodies.

Jerry, Uwe,

Sorry for not being in the game more often. Granted, I have been a victim of Summer goofing off and also my computer has crashed at home. Hopefully, we can drag more of the membership into this wonderful setup we have here. Once again, guys, my bad, the Goob:S.

Hello Robert,

The train is/was already made for Z-scale. Unfortunately I can't find the link to the website. If I remember it correctly it was made by Schmidt, but I will have to research that. Last year in Geseke I saw the train and the steamer at a second hand dealer, but my budget wasn't big enough.

Unfortunately I will have to take care of my funds currently too, since my company plans to fire 25% of it's employees...
That's also the reason that I'm a bit more quiet at the moment...

But anyway, if someone would make this train, I would see to get the funds somewhere...

GreetingZ, HilZen,

Uwe
