Kelley has been awarded 10 Z points for his second Z PBL Challenge entry!
Gee, I'd better get the lead out for my entries. But we do have until June 30 to enter. Barring some sort of disaster, I expect to build the last of my Kibri kits for the European layout by the end of the week after which I'll have lots of time to work on the Z PBL dioramas

I can tell you're having a great time putting together your Z PBL entries I can hardly wait for your next installment. Which tv show will you do next from that era? I have a couple of favourites, but I don't want to influence your creative juices. Go, man, go!

I just added pics of my PBL-Diorama
Thank you Beverly to announce this challenge at the ZFE-Forum. I really love this idea and it inspired me to realize some memories of my childhood in Bremen, a town in the north of germany where I played around a lot in various harbor sites.
greetings from europe,
Rainer

even ELVIS made it to Bremerhaven - so you did it worse! Nevertheless, I can understand, that you rather dream of coconuts, endless white sand beaches...
I love this very special coconut!!!
And: don't worry - I'm living in Austria now for more than seven years and never made it to Vienna

Although I do not know what Karin had originally planned for her PBC entry, I'm sure it would have been nice.
I still need to add a couple of small details to my offering before I can photograph it.
Like Karin said, the time to do fun Z things is very limited around here. And indeed, the NTS 2011 is already filling many a West coast modeler's mind and thoughts as we begin to plan greater projects and modules.
The NTS in Sacramento is going to be perhaps the best since Cincinnati in 2005. I think the clubs on the West coast are going to attempt to beat the module record held since 2005 in Ohio.
100 weekends sounds like a lot of time but for those who have never built a module the time flies faster than a Marklin train at a show in Germany, (and they go real fast).
I don't know who is going to coordinate the Sacramento show, but the planning is beginning already. The excitement will build quickly and result in some fantastic displays for all to see.

Admittedly, since there are no prizes or judging or anything of that nature, it might be an idea to keep the Z PBL Challenge open indefinitely. Folks who don't have time now to work on a diorama, but may be inspired at a future date can always join in the fun. After all, fun is what the Z PBL Challenge is for, oh as well as for the glory and fame and something about small furry animals What say all of you?

I looked at the "PBL Challenge" and could not figure
it out. I have a "PBL" soldering station that is quite
powerful and will solder just about anything. What
is "PBL" for this website?
Sorry for my confusion,
Reynard Wellman

looks like a demon's ear is -- a swirl of peanut butter!
Do our models have to be made out of peanut butter? ;>)
I know, I'm being silly. I think this is a very cool challenge
now that I get it. I'll have to come up with something tasty
and enter it sometime. Are chocolate chips allowed?
Thanks Jim!
