005 Barrier Strip on Wooden Stir Strip

Photo 5: 005 Mounting Barrier Strips to the Foam Base.
The wood may provide a stronger bond to the barrier strip than cork. Photo 5 shows a wooden stir base mount. Up till now both technique works just fine. The next day I glued the barrier strips with Elmer’s White Glue [100 %] to wood base. Weighted the barrier strip down and let it dry overnight.
Don’t forget to remove the film from the closed cell foam board before gluing the base strip to the foam!
